A booking system helped me run my business better and makes us look that much more professional.
When you are all busy in the salon and that phone just keeps on ringing, it really spoils the ambience. I like to have a really peaceful atmosphere for the clients to relax and it`s hard having to keep leaving clients halfway through a cut or worse still a colour treatment to go and chat about appointments on the phone.
Most of the questions are answered by the booking system and the customer just chooses their time and day from the calendar that pops up on their phone. Everyone`s busy including clients, so some of them have said they really appreciate being able to make an appointment by a few clicks on their phone.
So I would really recommend this simple system which is pretty cheap tbh. I didn`t have to pay too much to start with, but as we have gone on, I can see just how much more business it`s bringing in. I can see more bookings coming in even at night when we`re all out of there - it`s quite surprising how many people seem to want to book a hair cut at 9.30 in the evening! I think next year we`ll move up to a bespoke booking system as I can see the value in it.
